METS companies are invited to find out what's "new, now and next" for improving energy efficiency in minerals processing and comminution at a full-day workshop in Mt Isa on Wednesday 14 November.
Participants will meet with local plant operators, mining leaders, researchers and other METS companies to take away priorities, practical strategies and commercial opportunities for boosting energy efficiency and productivity in mining.
Hosted by METS Ignited project funding recipients the Coalition for Energy Efficient Comminution (CEEC), this workshop will showcase how to use and apply ground-breaking energy curve tools to your new and existing products or services to help mining customers enhance their business performance and profitability.
Featuring guest speakers, including Glencore's Mt Isa Mines General Manager Processing Zinc, Fran Burgess and General Manager Technology, Mike Hourn, and Capricorn Copper Concentrator Manager, Marvin Muller, this workshop will be extremely useful to METS companies seeking to provide energy efficient solutions to customers.
The CEEC Mineral Processing and Innovation Workshop is an initiative of the CEEC Advanced Energy Curves Project, funded through a partnership between the Queensland Government; METS Ignited, an Australian Government Industry Growth Centre; and CEEC International Ltd.
