Ric has more than 30 years in Senior Leadership roles across Mining equipment, Mineral processing, Infrastructure, Construction, Industrial, FMCG, Hardware Retail, and consumer related industries.
Ric’s previous roles include: non-executive directorships, CEO/MD in Private and Listed Environments, portfolio management, commercialisation, mergers, acquisitions, capital raising, venture capital, Executive General Management with extensive end-to-end local and international supply chain management.
He is also a former Director of Austmine which promotes the advancement and competitive positioning of Australian technology, collaboration and innovation in mining and resources.
General Manager - Industry Implementation - Ian Dover PhD FAICD

Ian's national and international career has included metallurgical process and research group management in the international aluminum industry as well as senior, interim and turnaround executive roles for mid-sized manufacturing, IT and resource industry suppliers. He spent 12 years as a project manager, then managing director, of a consulting firm specialising in technology-intensive businesses and value chains.
During this time he developed and introduced the agile 80/20 business strategy and operations improvement methods for companies in rapidly changing business environments. He was commissioned to implement this approach for the development and growth of the ICT sector in Queensland during the 90s. He later extended this to value chain improvement in the manufacturing, heavy engineering, telecommunications, healthcare and energy sectors.
Ian led CSIRO's Minerals Business Development and Commercialisation activities for a number of years. He has 20 years' experience as a company director with board roles including a major Australian university, Austmine and a national health services charitable group. Ian has long-held interest in technology development and commercialisation and has personally invested fund and expertise into eight start-ups, with two of these being highly successful.
General Manager - Education and Leadership Skills - Sarah Boucaut

Sarah is a global business person; a senior executive with international experience in business development and marketing. Her experience includes business development in the health sector, telecommunications service, apparel and mining sectors in corporate roles to founding successful start-ups. Initially based in Australia, Sarah held a number of roles in the Asian region for 15 years from the mid 90s to 2011. During this time, Sarah worked with public and private sector companies as well as Australian missions and Austrade.
A skilled global networker with demonstrated depth of strategic and marketing knowledge, Sarah balances her contribution with commercial acumen. Most recently Sarah led the establishment of a not-for-profit global industry body advancing the awareness of energy productive strategies in mineral processing. In her role as the CEO, Sarah chaired industry meetings, presented at global forum and conferences and facilitated workshops around the globe. Sarah is a philanthropist with a strong interest in the visual arts.
General Manager - Industry Engagement - Peter Clarke

Peter Clarke has a Bachelor of Engineering from University of Western Australia, 1974, and a Master of Science from the University of Surrey, 1978. He has spent most of his career in technology development and commercialisation in a range of industries including mining, oil and gas, pharmaceuticals and agriculture. He has been a co-founder of four companies, a robotics and engineering business, a computer vision company, a refrigeration product design company and a mining services company.
He was awarded the WA Innovator of the Year in 2007, made a University of Sydney Innovation Hero in 2011 and accepted the Australian Museum Eureka Commercialisation prize for this work with Scanalyse Pty Ltd in 2013. Peter has worked closely with the innovation and start-up space and is a mentor on several accelerator programs including CSIRO ON, Uneartherd, Vocus Upstart, Curtin Ignition and Start Something. He has an extensive network throughout the global mining industry with a good knowledge of the METS markets in Australia, Chile, Peru, Brazil, USA, Canada, Europe, Central Asia and Africa.
General Manager - International - Clare Sykes

Clare is a mining industry professional with more than 20 years' experience in operational and management roles across the public and private sectors. Clare's career has encompassed the areas of industry development, strategy and planning, supply chain optimisation, research and analysis, technical engineering and project management across varied domestic and international industry segments.
More recently Clare joined the NSW Department of Industry and has worked with a range of businesses and industry partners to advance investment, innovation, industry development and competitive positioning for the NSW METS Sector. She has worked as the primary contact point for the METS industry to actively engage and liaise with NSW Government. Prior to joining the NSW Government, Clare worked in the private sector where she acted as an independent consultant for private coal industry clients in the areas of investment and market analysis.
General Manager - Innovation - Dr Jacqui Coombes

Jacqui introduces herself as a "variance analyst" who enjoys solving complex problems and challenges with other people. She enjoys data, information, uncertainty/risk analyses, and what these mean for how people reason and make decisions. Underpinning this is a desire to smooth the path and help others achieve to make the world a better place. She holds both an honours degree in statistics and a master's degree in spatial statistics.
Jacqui has 27 years' experience in the mining and petroleum industries. After graduating with her master's, Jacqui joined South Africa's only oil and gas exploration company (Soekor). She was tasked to introduce and develop spatial statistical capability. In Perth, Jacqui joined Snowden Mining Industry Consultants gaining mine value chain experience across multiple commodities and globally.
Jacqui initiated and headed Snowden's Technical Mentoring division, and has since provided advisory services to higher degree research students as a Research Consultant (Statistics) at Edith Cowan University (ECU). This role has provided Jacqui with an understanding of how researchers and academics engage with research and industry. Jacqui is an accomplished author and business owner.
